ToolDingo

Working Days Calculator

Choose dates, country, region and workweek to calculate working days with public holidays and additional days off.

Automatic country detection is only a suggestion. You can change it at any time.
Regular working days
Separate ISO dates with commas, spaces or line breaks. Duplicate dates are deducted only once.

Holiday data comes from the locally bundled open-source date-holidays dataset (licence and source attributions). Verify legally, contractually or payroll-critical results with an official source; regional exceptions and employer-specific days off may differ.

Frequently Asked Questions

How are the country and region selected?
The calculator suggests a country using ToolDingo's existing country detection. The visible selection controls the result and can always be changed. A country in shared URL state takes precedence over a stored choice and automatic detection.
Which holidays are included?
The calculator uses public holidays from the locally bundled date-holidays dataset for the selected country and, where available, its state, province, subdivision or further region. Holidays in the range are listed individually and can be cleared.
Can I add employer-specific days off?
Yes. Enter additional dates in ISO format YYYY-MM-DD. Separate multiple dates with commas, spaces or line breaks.
Are the start and end dates included?
Yes. Both dates are part of the range. Each counts as a working day when its weekday is selected and it is not deducted as an included public holiday or additional day off.
Can I use a workweek other than Monday to Friday?
Yes. Select any combination of weekdays. Public holidays and additional days off are deducted only when they fall on one of your selected regular working days.
Is the result legally authoritative?
No. It is a planning aid. For payroll, statutory deadlines or employment questions, verify the applicable official rules and your specific workplace agreement.
