Start with the weighted qualification-phase score your school has calculated for Block I.
Then enter the raw point scores from your four or five Abitur exams.
The calculator shows the Block II weighting, the total points and a rounded orientation value.
Example: from points to a grade
The preset example shows how the calculator weights raw points under the displayed framework version, adds both blocks and produces a rounded orientation value.
What the result means – and what it does not
This calculator follows the centrally stored shared German framework. It does not replace your school’s official calculation. Depending on the federal state, course selection and exam format, compulsory courses, required terms, minimum conditions or an official conversion table can affect the certificate. Below the stored minimum total, the calculator deliberately does not show an Abitur grade.
The overall qualification combines results from the qualification phase and the Abitur exams. Each German federal state determines the exact courses and terms that count. This calculator therefore expects the Block I score after your school has applied its weighting.
How are advanced courses or higher-level courses weighted?
Course weighting is defined by the state rules and your school’s calculation. This calculator does not weight individual courses itself. Enter the Block I total after that weighting has already been applied.
When is the Abitur grade rounded?
This calculator rounds its simplified orientation value to one decimal place. Your certificate follows your school’s official conversion, which may use a table and additional conditions.
Why can the result differ from my school’s calculation?
Compulsory courses, required terms, minimum point conditions, exam formats and the rules of your federal state can change the official result. This calculator only shows the centrally stored shared framework.
Can I estimate missing courses for now?
Yes. You can use provisional points for a rough plan, but the result remains an estimate. Replace them later with your school’s weighted Block I score and your actual exam results.
Which federal state and rule version does this calculator cover?
The calculator displays the centrally stored KMK framework version and loads the block bounds, minimum total and conversion parameters from it. It does not fully model a state-specific examination regulation or official certificate conversion.
