How are trip fuel costs calculated?
The calculator derives the required fuel from distance and fuel economy, multiplies it by your entered price and then accounts for the number of vehicles.
Does round trip double every cost?
It doubles the entered driving distance and therefore the calculated fuel amount. It does not add unrelated travel expenses.
How are costs split between travelers?
The total fuel cost for all vehicles is divided equally by the number of people you enter.
Can I calculate costs for several vehicles?
Yes. The same distance, fuel economy and fuel price are applied to every vehicle, so use separate calculations if the vehicles differ.
Which MPG does the imperial mode use?
